    Cathy Willis Spraetz, CAE
    Chief Executive Officer

    Cathy Willis Spraetz has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) since 1999.   Prior to her work with PADV, she served as CEO for disability-focused organizations, including United Cerebral Palsy of Macon and Middle Georgia (1975-1987), and Parent to Parent of Georgia, Inc. (1987-1999). Her disability-specific experience includes two years of direct service at the Academy for the Blind to young children who experienced multiple disabilities as a result of the 1967 Rubella epidemic. Additionally, she worked directly with clients for two years through a mental retardation service center in rural Georgia. She also served as program staff with United Cerebral Palsy for seven years, prior to her promotion as its CEO. She was UCP’s first early intervention coordinator, serving infants with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

    Willis Spraetz is a graduate of Georgia State University, majoring in Urban Studies with a concentration in Nonprofit Administration. She is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) through the National Society of Association Executives. In 2005, she was chosen as a scholarship recipient to Harvard Business School on Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Management.

    She is a former member of Georgia’s Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities and is a current member of GSAE (Georgia Society of Association Executives). Willis Spraetz currently serves as immediate past president of the Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the statewide membership organization for domestic violence agencies, and she is a 2002 graduate of Leadership Atlanta.
