PADV Announces the 34th Annual Hearts with Hope Gala Co-Chairs
ATLANTA – May 15, 2022 - Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), Georgia's first and largest domestic violence agency, is proud to announce that Kristen Hoskinson and Dr. Natasha Ramsey, will co-chair this year’s 34th annual Hearts with Hope Gala. The Hearts with Hope Gala will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the InterContinental Hotel in Buckhead, with more than 500 corporate and community leaders expected to attend.
Kristen Hoskinson is a Practice Leader and Vice President with AXA XL, one of the largest insurance carriers in the world. Additionally, Kristen is a board member for Partnership Against Domestic Violence and most importantly, the mother of her teen daughter, McKenna.
Growing up in the northeast, Kristen attended Colgate University and majored in International Relations, joining Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and serving as Philanthropy Chair and VP of Finance before graduating. During that time, she became deeply engaged in the Victims of Domestic Violence buddy program, mentoring school-aged children in Hamilton, NY, and the surrounding areas, whose mothers were clients of the VDV program. Post-graduation, Kristen moved to Atlanta in 1999 and currently resides in Dunwoody. Kristen was introduced to PADV through a good friend, has coordinated corporate service days and projects, church group projects, and now serves on the Board of directors. Kristen’s daughter, McKenna, is actively on the board of Teens Against Dating Violence for PADV. Kristen's mother, Cathy, spent much of her career with a nonprofit fund and donor development before retiring to Gainesville, GA.
Dr. Natasha Ramsey is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor (CPCS), and Clinically Certified Trauma Professional (CCTP) in the state of Georgia. Dr. Ramsey earned her BS in Psychology and her MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Dr. Ramsey completed her Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University. Dr. Ramsey is a member of the International Association for Trauma Professionals, American Association for Christian Counselors, Georgia Association for Christian Counselors, and Licensed Professional Counselors of Georgia.
Dr. Ramsey works with adults who are experiencing a variety of stressors; specializing in working with individuals who are experiencing the psychological and physical effects of trauma. Dr. Ramsey has worked with clients addressing challenges including but not limited to interpersonal issues related to self-esteem, stress management, life transitions, childhood sexual abuse, trauma, rape, domestic violence, addiction, grief, marital distress, and career changes. Dr. Ramsey enjoys collaborating with clients to help them maximize their potential while employing a variety of therapeutic interventions and techniques with the belief that each client is an individual and therapy should be tailored to their unique and individual selves. Dr. Ramsey believes that people are resilient, and with the right support, they can overcome the adversity of life.
