Domestic Violence Awareness Month - PADV's Dating Violence Program

PADV’s mission is to end the crime of intimate partner violence and empower its survivors.  To achieve this, we are committed to educating the next generation on the importance of building and maintaining healthy relationships, and the red flags of an unhealthy relationship.  49% of victims in cases studied by Georgia’s Domestic Violence Fatality Review Project began their relationship with the person who eventually killed them when they were between the ages of 13-24.

Dating Violence Prevention Program:

The goals of our Dating Violence Prevention Program are to reduce dating violence, educate and increase awareness among youth about safe and healthy relationships, encourage dialogue with youth about dating relationships, educate adults about the signs of dating violence and provide safety planning and resources to youth experiencing dating violence.
