Every year, 1.5 million high school students nationwide experience physical abuse from a dating partner. One in three girls in the U.S. is a victim of physical, emotional or verbal abuse from a dating partner.
Recognizing the tremendous impact on our youth demonstrated by these statistics, Partnership Against Domestic Violence held its 6th Annual Women In Action Forum on February 14, 2020, where we will shed light on teen dating violence. This event includes a breakfast, a marketplace of local vendors and guest speakers knowledgeable on the impact of teen dating violence and how all of us can help curb this epidemic.
We look forward to hosting Women in Action again in 2022.
